PROP HHH MILESTONES!

ONE THOUSAND UNITS READY FOR OCCUPANCY, OR IN OCCUPANCY AND OPERATING.

Our commitment is to build 10,000 homes for the homeless from 2016 – 2026 by investing our Proposition HHH and other city dollars into permanent homes for the most vulnerable. Approved by 77% of voters in November 2016, #PropHHH is the key tool for realizing this goal. The funding has enabled the City to increase its annual production of supportive housing units from about 300 units a year to 1,000.

Supportive housing, a model for successfully ending the experience of homelessness, combines an affordable apartment with on-site services that support formerly homeless tenants in regaining health and stability.

To date: 42 properties for the most vulnerable with 2,700 apartments are ready for occupancy and are operating, including 16 HHH-financed properties with more than 1,000 apartments.

The Housing Department publishes a monthly update on the progress of #HHH, click to visit the Prop HHH Dashboard (housing.lacity.org/housing/hhh-progress).
