Andrew Chang, a Los Angeles native, is the founder of Ginkgo Group LLC, a real estate development and construction firm that focuses on high-end single family residential and commercial. Prior to devoting his fulltime to Ginkgo Group, Andrew served in the Los Angeles- based private equity firm, CIM Group. As part of the development team, Andrew has worked on a total of 160 residential units and 150,000 sf of office space totaling $200M focusing on entitlements, permitting, building programming, design, construction, and budgeting.

In 2022, fueled by his profound interest in alternative housing solutions, Andrew founded Gopod Inc—an organization committed to conceiving and actualizing innovative dwelling units. Gopod focuses on mobile modularized structures that seamlessly integrate avant-garde design principles with integrated technology.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Andrew earned his BA in International Relations & Global Business in 2017. He maintains an active involvement with the university, holding membership in the USC Associates. Andrew aspires to leverage his diverse experiences in both the private and public sectors to address and serve the diverse needs of the people of Los Angeles.
